Everheld

There is room for this here.

Everheld is a private place for life after loss — for the memories, the grief, the difficult dates, and the people who understand.

Free to begin. No card required.

Who this is for

For anyone living after a loss — a parent, a partner, a child, a friend, a pet. Whether it happened last month or many years ago.

And if your grief is complicated, it belongs here too. Not every loss is simple. Not every relationship was easy. There is room for that here.

Not a social network. Not a to-do list.

Everheld is a personal memory and legacy space — built for the parts of life that do not fit neatly anywhere else. Grief, love, gratitude, and the stories you want to carry forward.

It is not about productivity. It is about presence.

A note from the founder

Everheld began in the hardest years of my life.

Between 2018 and 2021, I lost my parents, my grandmother, my dog, and my partner of twenty-two years. What brought me back was not moving on — it was learning that I could carry them, and that remembering is how a legacy stays alive and gets passed on.

I built Everheld because I needed it, and I know I am not the only one still carrying someone.

Read our story

You don't have to carry this alone.

Grief asks for two different kinds of people, and most of us only have access to one.

The people who knew them

Invite the people who were there too. They can add memories you have never seen, leave a few words on a hard day, and simply be present — without you having to ask for it.

The people who understand

Some things only another person carrying the same kind of loss can hear. Everheld can quietly match you with a companion, for letters at a gentle pace. And on a hard night, a kept flame shows you that others are here too.

What you can do here

Preserve memories

Write, collect, and keep the moments that shaped you — photos, words, and small details that deserve a permanent home.

Journal privately

A gentle space to think things through. Your words belong to you, held with care and never shared without your intention.

Prepare for difficult dates

Anniversaries, birthdays, and tender milestones. Everheld helps you meet those days with presence rather than being caught off guard.

Personal rituals

Build quiet practices that help you remember, reflect, and stay connected to what matters across the seasons of your life.

Invite a trusted circle

When you are ready, you can share selected memories or messages with the people you choose — at your own pace.

Decide what is passed on

Choose trusted people and what they receive, when the time comes — so what you keep here can be handed forward, not lost.

Your space. Your terms.

Everything you hold in Everheld is encrypted and private by default. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or use your memories to train models. Full stop.

You can export or delete everything at any time.

Questions you might have

Is Everheld free to start?

Yes — you can begin with a free space and see what feels right before choosing a plan.

Who can see what I write?

No one, unless you choose to share it. Your space is private by default.

What happens to my space after I am gone?

You decide. Everheld lets you designate trusted people who can receive what you choose, when the time comes.

If you just need somewhere to start

We keep a small library of plain, practical writing on grief — what to do when someone dies, what to say to someone who is grieving, and what grief can feel like. Free to read, no account needed.
